THE FIRST ROAD COURSE OF THE YEAR IS UPON US. DO YOU DO ANY SPECIAL WORK TO GET READY FOR THIS EVENT?

“I’m always excited to get back to the road course events. I really enjoy running these couple of races each year. I feel like we have had some good runs in the road courses over the years and some really bad ones. I’m ready to win one of these things now. But that’s tough to do because a lot of these guys have gotten better and better at road course racing over the years. There are 15 or more guys that can win one of these races. We do a lot of work in the shop to prepare for the race. We also do some sim work. And a couple of weeks ago, a bunch of the Ford drivers got together and did some road course work in some high performance Mustangs. Anything you can do to get yourself better will help, although there is nothing like being on the track and getting reps inside the car.”
