Job Description:

Primary duties of the Merchandise Coordinator position include inventory management through Joey Logano Racing’s (JLR) inventory database system, creative support and direction, purchase orders, communication with vendors and day-to-day functions of product introduction with the marketing team. The Merchandise Coordinator role will work closely with the all departments of JLR, including the Joey Logano Foundation and the JLR Marketing Manager to produce new designs for the brand.

The Merchandise Coordinator will also work in parallel with the creative team, incorporating direction into new product lines as well as upkeep of the JoeyLogano.com store. Providing feedback to website design team to keep inventory accurately accounted for will be an essential part to the role.

The Merchandise Coordinator needs to be versatile with a skillset of the of the following functions:

Product Management / Core Responsibilities:

  • New product development – work alongside marketing team
  • Quarterly physical counts to ensure inventory is accurate
  • Update new product and remove old products from inventory management system, when necessary
  • Pull store reports bi-weekly, monthly and annually
  • Collect orders and mail out inventory
  • Work alongside marketing team to develop new promotions, track sales and trends
  • Regularly maintain and update all vendor information and updates as needed
  • Develop a vision to grow the merchandise business and increase Joey’s awareness through his exclusive brand

Customer Support / General Responsibilities:

  • Review daily orders, print shipping labels for shipping and receiving
  • Manage all customer requests via phone or email and route to appropriate individual(s)

Experience/Education:

  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science Degree in Retail Merchandising, Fashion Design or a degree with emphasis in apparel
  • A minimum of one-year experience gained in on-the-job work history and an Undergraduate Minor in Retail Merchandising
