Recap: Joey Logano came up .008 seconds short of becoming the first driver to earn four-consecutive pole positions at Martinsville Speedway on Friday afternoon, qualifying second for Sunday’s Goody’s 500 in the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford Fusion. Despite missing the fourth straight pole position, Logano earned his fifth consecutive front row. Logano led qualifying in the first round, then timed in sixth in the second round.
