Recap: Joey Logano led the way among the Round of Eight competitors in qualifying for Sunday’s Can-Am 500 at Phoenix International Raceway, qualifying fourth in the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford Fusion. Logano turned the eighth fastest time in the first round of qualifying and the fastest time in the second round. By leading a lap and finishing second on Sunday, Logano will clinch a berth to compete for the NASCAR Sprint Cup at Ford Championship Weekend in Miami next weekend.
