Severe thunderstorms shorted Friday’s qualifying session for Saturday night’s Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway to only two rounds. Joey Logano will start his No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil/Autotrader Ford Fusion in the 11th position after a lap of 28.555 seconds. Logano turned the fourth-fastest lap in the opening round of qualifying on his second attempt.
