Recap: Joey Logano earned his third-straight NASCAR Sprint Cup Series pole at Martinsville Speedway Friday afternoon, taking the top spot in qualifying for the STP 500. Logano topped each of the three qualifying rounds after being fastest in practice earlier in the day. For Logano, it is his 15th-career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series pole and his fifth-straight in the state of Virginia. He won both poles at Martinsville and both poles at Richmond last season.
