YOU ARE RUNNING THE NXS RACE WITH THE NO. 12 TEAM AND NOTHING REALLY TO LOSE. DO YOU GO INTO THE RACE WITH A “NOTHING TO LOSE” ATTITUDE?

“Really we can. We are out there for two reasons – to give me some additional time on the track to practice shifting and my road course skills and to try and win the race. We aren’t racing for points. We are racing for the win. So we can take chances. We have done this the last couple of years. One year, we did exactly that and took a chance and try to run the car long on fuel, but it didn’t work. We can do things like that and maybe try some different setups. But I don’t want to get in the way of those that are racing for a championship. That’s just as important. We are going to try and win the race, but I’m not going to try so hard that I ruin someone else’s day.”
