Joey Logano heads into Talladega Superspeedway this weekend with no pressure, already being locked into the next round with back-to-back wins in the Contender Round. Can he make it three-for-three?

WHERE DOES WINNING TWO RACES IN A ROW, ESPECIALLY IN THE CHASE, RANK ON YOUR LIST OF CAREER HIGHLIGHTS?

“Everyone knows how hard it is to win even one NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race these days. So to be able to win two of them in the same season, and then even two of them in back-to-back races is a very tall task. To me, that shows the strength of my Shell-Pennzoil team and of Todd Gordon. Look back at the guys that have won back-to-back races in the last several years and you will see the names of some pretty elite drivers. That goes to show you how hard it is. So to think that my team has accomplished a feat like that, in addition to winning the Daytona 500 and the other races that we’ve been able to win this year, makes me feel pretty good about where we are at. But RP always tells us not to rest on our press clippings. We need to focus on what is in front of us and what is in front of us is going out there and winning five more races and the Championship.”
