The Chase starts this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway. See what Joey Logano has to say heading into the weekend.

NOW THAT THE CHASE IS HERE, DO YOU AND YOUR TEAM GO ABOUT DOING ANYTHING DIFFERENT?

“Our plan is to not do anything different. But there are some things that you will do a little bit differently depending on how the races play out. We are not going to try and do anything special or different heading into the weekends or run our races any different. We are running well right now and working together as good as we can. We are still going to go out there and try to win every race, which is the mindset that we’ve had all year long. The only thing you do different now is that you look at points. Leading into the Chase, we could go for broke because we had the wins there and we knew we were locked in. In the Chase, points matter to move on to the next round if you haven’t won, so you might not take as many gambles as you did in the regular season. But that only happens in certain circumstances. Really, we are running up front and contending for wins, so no reason to change anything now.”
