HOW DOES IT FEEL TO HEAD BACK TO DAYTONA KNOWING YOU ARE THE DEFENDING WINNER OF THE 500?

“I still pretty much think of that race every single day. That was probably the best single day of my Sprint Cup Series career. But we can’t go into the weekend thinking about the 500 win. This is a new weekend and things are totally different at Daytona in July than they are in February. It’s a night race. It’s going to be a lot hotter out. It drives differently. The biggest thing we can take from the 500 is the way me and my spotter Tab (Boyd) work together and how much better I think we’ve gotten at restrictor plate racing. It takes a whole team to win these things, but the spotter really comes into play at Daytona and Talladega. We just need to do the same things and hopefully we can get a Daytona sweep with our Shell-Pennzoil Ford.”
